Modern U.S. History
Modern U.S. History is a full-year course that provides students with a comprehensive view of American history from the Industrial Revolution of the late nineteenth century to recent events.
Readings are primarily drawn from K12's The American Odyssey: A History of the United States. Online lessons help students organize their studies, explore
topics in depth, analyze events from multiple points of view, review in preparation for assessments, practice skills of historical thinking and analysis, and connect historical events to current events.
Activities include analyzing primary sources and maps, completing written assignments, and conducting research.
