Once you purchase tutoring hours through the K12 Marketplace, keep an eye on your inbox! You’ll get an email with simple steps to set up your account on the K12 Tutoring platform. After that, your tutoring hours will appear in your Guardian Dashboard, ready to use.

How do I redeem my purchased tutoring hours?

After setting up your account on the K12 Tutoring platform, you can start booking sessions directly from your Guardian Dashboard. It’s easy to find the right tutor and schedule sessions that work for your family.

Does my child get assigned a tutor?

Nope—you get to choose! After you purchase your tutoring hours, we’ll send you an email with simple steps to create your account on the K12 Tutoring platform. Once your account is set up, your hours will appear in your Guardian Dashboard. From there, you can browse our pool of amazing, state-certified tutors and choose the one who’s the best fit for your child.

What if we don’t like our tutor?

We want you to feel great about your choice. That’s why we offer our Tutor Satisfaction Guarantee: if you’re not happy with your tutor, we’ll give you a free replacement session (of the same length and subject as the original). To learn more, visit Our Guarantees.

Can I get a refund on my tutoring hours?
