5th Grade Early American Art students explore the rich history of early American art—from the traditions of Indigenous peoples to the art and architecture of Colonial America. Along the way, they deepen their understanding of key artistic elements like form, texture, pattern, contrast, and balance. Through hands-on projects in drawing, painting, and sculpture, students create original works inspired by the art they study.

Our customized learning approach crafts a strong foundation of essential skills for elementary school students in grades K–5, nurturing a love of learning and confidence in their capabilities.
