3rd Grade Art introduces 3rd grade students to art and architecture from the 1400s through the 1700s. Students build on their understanding of the elements of art and principles of design - including form, texture, pattern, contrast, and balance - while exploring artworks from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

They will draw, paint, and sculpt their own creations using a variety of materials and techniques that are inspired by the artworks they study.
