Students learn to make wise consumer choices, prepare nutritious meals, contribute effectively as part of a team, manage a household budget, and balance roles of work and family. Throughout the course, they will gain an appreciation for the responsibilities of family members throughout the life span and the contributions to the well being of the family and the community.
