Consumer Math - Credit Recovery
Consumer Math – Credit Recovery helps students review and strengthen arithmetic skills they can apply in everyday life and future careers.
The first semester focuses on occupational topics, including jobs, wages, deductions, taxes, insurance, recreation and spending, and transportation.
In the second semester, students explore personal finances, including checking and savings accounts, loans and credit, automobile expenses, and housing costs.
Narrated slideshows help explain more challenging concepts, and throughout the course, students participate in online discussions with their teacher and classmates to reinforce learning.
This course is designed to support learners who need to revisit essential concepts while still building solid preparation for future coursework.
Diagnostic tests help assess each student’s current knowledge and create individualized study plans, allowing students to focus on the areas where they need the most review.
