Algebra 2 - Credit Recovery
Algebra 2 – Credit Recovery helps students strengthen and rebuild the skills they learned in Algebra 1 and Geometry while preparing them for more advanced algebraic concepts. The course focuses on core ideas students need to confidently move forward in high school math. The course focuses on rebuilding understanding in key areas so students can successfully meet learning goals.
A strong emphasis is placed on understanding functions. Students review and explore linear, quadratic, higher-degree polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions through analysis, problem-solving practice, and graphing work. Short sections on probability and statistics help round out their skills and reinforce real-world applications.
Near the end of the course, students are introduced to sequences and series, giving them a solid foundation for future mathematics coursework.
This course is designed to support learners who need to revisit essential concepts while still building solid preparation for future math coursework.
Diagnostic tests assess students’ current knowledge and generate individualized study plans, allowing students to focus on topics that need review.
