U.S. Government and Politics - Credit Recovery
U.S. Government and Politics – Credit Recovery focuses on the history, organization, and functions of the United States government.
Beginning with the Declaration of Independence and continuing through the present day, students explore the relationship between individual Americans and their governing bodies. They take a close look at the political culture of our country and gain insight into the challenges faced by citizens, elected officials, political activists, and others.
Students learn about the roles of political parties, interest groups, the media, and the Supreme Court, while also discussing their own perspectives on current political issues.
This course is designed to support learners who need to revisit essential concepts while still building solid preparation for future coursework.
Diagnostic tests assess students’ current knowledge and generate individualized study plans, allowing students to focus on topics that need review.
