7th Grade Math focuses on real-world problems involving algebraic expressions, linear equations, and increasingly complex applications of rational numbers.

The course lays the groundwork for concepts of angles, similarity, and congruence, which are explored more fully in 8th grade. Students work with scale drawings and analyze relationships among geometric figures.

Students also develop and apply their understanding of proportional relationships.
