1st Grade Math
1st Grade Math builds on foundational math skills through a combination of engaging teacher-led instruction and hands-on independent practice. Students learn using live or video lessons with virtual manipulatives, demonstrations using physical tools, and songs to reinforce key concepts. Independent activities allow students to solve problems both online and offline using an activity book.
The curriculum focuses on numbers and counting, data representation, addition and subtraction, story problems, length, time, shapes, and place value. Students also explore real-world connections to math while mastering addition and subtraction facts through 10.
Household materials required: crayons, markers or colored pencils, glue, and round-end safety scissors.
This course is aligned with 1st Grade Math standards.
