7th Grade Life Science invites students to explore the living world, from the tiniest cells to entire ecosystems, through reading, observation, and hands-on experiments.

Students learn about a wide variety of organisms, the structure and function of cells, relationships between living things and their environments, and key discoveries in genetics.

Topics include ecology, microorganisms, animals, plants, cells, species, adaptation, heredity, genetics, and the history of life on Earth. Lesson activities and assignments give students a first-hand look at how scientists study and understand the natural world.
