Creative Writing
Creative Writing introduces students to a variety of creative writing genres, including fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, drama, and multimedia writing.
Students read and study classic and contemporary works, apply techniques to their own writing, and develop proficiency in the writing process. They also evaluate the writing of others and use these criteria to improve their own work.
By the end of the course, students create a well-developed portfolio of finished written works.
Please note: It is recommended that students enroll in this course with the teacher supported option to facilitate feedback and skill development.
