Calculus
Calculus offers a complete introduction to the major concepts of differential and integral calculus. Students learn about limits, how to compute derivatives and integrals, linearization, Riemann sums, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, and basic differential equations.
The course is organized into ten units and covers various applications such as interpreting graphs, understanding motion, finding averages, calculating area and volume, and modeling growth and decay.
Students use an online textbook throughout the course. This digital resource supports the lessons and gives students extra practice to help reinforce what they are learning.
The course also includes an embedded graphing calculator tool (GCalc). Students can use it directly in the course, and the software is available to download at no cost.
