Algebra 2 – Honors builds on the skills students developed in Algebra 1 and introduces a broader and more challenging set of mathematical concepts. Along with continued work in linear, quadratic, and exponential functions, students expand their understanding to include polynomial, rational, radical, and trigonometric functions.

This honors-level course strengthens students’ ability to model situations and solve equations, such as solving quadratic equations with complex numbers and solving exponential equations using logarithmic properties.

Students also explore sequences and series, study probability distributions, and learn more advanced data analysis techniques to help prepare them for higher-level mathematics.
