Accounting I
Accounting I is the first semester of a two-part course designed to help students build strong, practical accounting skills. The course focuses on developing a clear understanding of core accounting concepts while also introducing students to financial statement analysis. Throughout the lessons, students are encouraged to connect what they learn to real-world situations and practice making informed business decisions.
Students explore key topics such as recording transactions and learning different accounting methods in-use by both service-based and merchandising businesses.
Accounting I also helps prepare students for the NOCTI Accounting Basic credential.
