Elementary School Spanish II
Elementary Spanish II 3–5 is aligned with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) standards and offers a fun, interactive introduction to the Spanish language for upper elementary students.
Designed for younger learners, the course emphasizes vocabulary acquisition through stories, games, songs, and practice activities. Each unit is based on an authentic story, myth, or legend from Spanish-speaking cultures, giving students a meaningful context to explore the language and culture while beginning to express themselves with simple words and phrases.
Units focus on building basic Spanish vocabulary and using it in conversational contexts. Topics include greetings, daily routines, adjectives, school vocabulary, weather and seasons, months, places, holidays, senses, travel words, food, and household terms.
