Practicum in Entrepreneurship
Practicum in Entrepreneurship is designed to allow students to gain hands-on experience in clinical operations, problem-solving, and decision-making.
In the first semester, students are introduced to the world of healthcare professionals in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, and other health facilities.
Students explore the practical aspects of launching and running a business by researching and analyzing various companies.
They simulate the role of entrepreneurs by applying learned concepts to analyze problems and make critical business decisions. By the end of the first semester, students create a comprehensive business plan to support their entrepreneurial aspirations.
In the second semester, students transition from simulations to real-world experiences. Through internships with businesses of their interest, they gain valuable industry exposure and professional skills by working alongside professionals, contributing to business tasks and projects, and developing a thorough understanding of what it takes to run a business.
Throughout the second semester, students build their professional portfolios, including artifacts and anecdotes from hands-on experiences. These portfolios showcase students' professional profiles and entrepreneurial growth.
