Middle School Spanish II

Spanish II – Middle School is aligned with national standards from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).

Students continue developing skills in the four key areas of language learning: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course combines effective language-learning methods with online instruction.

Each unit introduces new vocabulary and grammar concepts, reading and listening comprehension activities, speaking and writing practice, multimedia cultural presentations, interactive exercises that reinforce vocabulary and grammar, and frequent assessments to monitor language progression.

Lessons emphasize real-life context and conversational examples, giving students many opportunities to practice and master vocabulary and grammar before moving on.

In the first semester, students study hobbies and pastimes, food, and family. In the second semester, they study places, animals, shopping, and weather.
