Family and Consumer Science teaches students the skills and knowledge needed to navigate adult roles and responsibilities within the family and community.

Students learn to make informed consumer choices, prepare nutritious meals, work effectively as part of a team, manage a household budget, and balance the demands of work and family. Throughout the course, they develop an appreciation for the roles and responsibilities of family members across the lifespan and their contributions to the well-being of both family and community.
