Environmental Science explores important topics such as applying the scientific process to environmental analysis, ecology, energy flow, ecological structures, earth systems, and atmospheric, land, and water science.

Students also examine the management of natural resources and evaluate how both private and governmental decisions impact the environment.

Through real-world case studies and five hands-on, unit-long research projects, students learn that responsible decisions about the environment and resource use rely on accurate application of scientific methods, including careful data collection and thoughtful conclusions.
