Chinese II – Elementary School provides a fun, interactive introduction to the Chinese language for young learners. Each unit is based on an authentic story, myth, or legend from a Chinese-speaking culture to make learning engaging and meaningful.

This course focuses on building vocabulary through stories, games, songs, and hands-on practice activities. Students are also introduced to writing Chinese characters, helping them understand vocabulary and the structure of the language.

Students practice pronunciation by recording conversations using the vocabulary they have learned. They are exposed to both the language and cultures of Chinese-speaking regions in a playful environment where they can explore meanings and start expressing themselves with simple words and phrases.

The Elementary Chinese II course is aligned with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) standards.
